How do I format answers on Stampy?

Answers are parsed into markdown before being displayed on the UI. Most basic markup is supported, but some advanced things like fonts won’t carry over. Google Docs does not have a blockquote feature, but starting a line with a > will generate a blockquote in the UI. triple backticks can be used for code.
